Yeah, well.... it was never mine to begin with. Which was why I
insisted on proper accounting: to make sure that I give back only
what I'm not supposed to have, and to make sure that the other guy
gets exactly what he's supposed to get.
But at the same time, if that money had not come to me in the first
place, I would have certainly reviewed my spending patterns. For
one thing, I wouldn't have gone for that solo backpacking trip back
in July.
Oh well... I'm sure the supervisor's wracked with guilt over all
the trouble she caused for so many people.
And yeah, this is a sucky episode, but I've been through worse.
I'll get over it.
